Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 12/1/2026

Introduction

At Crown Jewel Interiors (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of all our users, customers, and visitors — including those residing in Texas. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal data, and describes your rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (“TDPSA”).

If you are a Texas resident, this policy applies to you. Please read carefully.

What “Personal Data” Means

Under the TDPSA, “personal data” includes any information that is linked or reasonably linkable to an identified or identifiable individual. That may include, but is not limited to: name, email address, phone number, postal address, billing/shipping address, payment information, browsing history, purchase history, and other contact or account data.

If we process “sensitive personal data” (for example: precise geolocation, information revealing race/ethnicity, religion, health status, or information about a child under age 13), additional protections and disclosures apply under TDPSA.

What Personal Data We Collect and Why

Categories of personal data we may collect (as relevant):

  • Basic contact and identification data (e.g., name, email address, phone number, mailing or billing address)

  • Account or billing data (e.g., payment information, purchase history)

  • Usage data (e.g., website analytics, browsing behavior, interaction history)

  • Communications data (e.g., messages, inquiries, support requests)

Purposes for processing your data (why we collect it):

  • To provide and manage our services (e.g., interior-design services, client communication, scheduling)

  • To process payments and billing

  • To communicate with you (e.g., respond to inquiries, send project updates or notifications)

  • To improve and manage our website and services (e.g., analytics, user experience, marketing)

  • To comply with legal obligations, and to protect the security and integrity of our business

We collect only what is “adequate, relevant, and reasonably necessary” for the purposes described.

Sharing Your Data with Third Parties

We may share your personal data with certain third parties under the following categories (only as needed):

  • Service providers that help us operate our business (e.g., payment processors, hosting providers, mailing-list or CRM providers)

  • Contractors or vendors assisting us in delivering services (e.g., subcontractors, third-party partners)

  • Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law or to protect our legal rights

We do not sell your personal data unless we explicitly state otherwise (see Section 5).

If we share data, we limit shared data to what is necessary for the third party to provide the requested service, and require that third parties implement appropriate data-security safeguards and comply with TDPSA standards.

Sale, Targeted Advertising, Sensitive or Biometric Data

  • We do not currently sell personal data to third parties.

  • We do not process or sell “sensitive personal data” or “biometric data” as defined under TDPSA.

If that ever changes, we will update this Policy and include the mandatory disclosure(s):

NOTICE: We may sell your sensitive personal data.
NOTICE: We may sell your biometric data.

If we engage in targeted advertising, sale of data, profiling, or other high-risk processing, we will clearly state that here — and explain how you can opt out

Your Rights under TDPSA & How to Exercise Them

As a resident of Texas, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to know whether we are processing your personal data, and to access the personal data we hold about you, in a readable format.

  • Right to correct inaccuracies in your personal data.

  • Right to delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you.

  • Right to obtain a portable copy of your personal data (data portability).

  • Right to opt out of processing for purposes of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling that results in decisions with legal/similar effect.

  • Right to appeal if we deny your request. We must provide a justification for denial and instructions for appeal.

  • Right to submit a request without creating an account. We will offer at least two different methods for requests, at least one via our website.

How to submit a request:
You can exercise your rights by contacting us at:

Please indicate “TDPSA Request” in the subject line, and specify the right you wish to exercise (e.g., access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out, appeal).

We will respond to verified requests promptly, and no later than 45 days after receiving your request. We may extend by another 45 days if necessary — but will inform you if we need the extension. All valid requests are free of charge (up to two requests per consumer per year), unless requests are unfounded, excessive, or repetitive.

Data Security, Retention & Minimization

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of your personal data.

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide our services, respond to inquiries, comply with legal obligations, or fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Once data is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.

We also follow the principle of data minimization: we only collect and use what is adequate, relevant, and reasonably necessary for our disclosed purposes.

If we use third-party vendors (data processors), we maintain data-processing agreements to ensure they comply with TDPSA requirements.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time (for instance, if we change how we use or share data, or to comply with changes in the law). If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” and post the new version on our website.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
